Ramos votes for state budget emergency measures to provide relief in wake of COVID 19 pandemic

SACRAMENTO—Assemblymember James Ramos (D-Highland) announced today his vote in support of two COVID 19-related measures to provide emergency appropriations to deal with the crisis.

SB 89 authored by the Senate Committee on Budget and Fiscal Review amends the 2019-20 state budget to appropriate up to $500 million to meet the coronavirus emergency as well as funding of up to $1 billion more as needed.
