COVID-19 Resources for Seniors

County of San Bernardino Department of Aging and Adult Services

San Bernardino County Department of Aging and Adult Services (DAAS) has an array of nutrition services for older adult residents. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, DAAS is providing “Grab and Go” meals at 32 locations throughout the county and has increased the capacity in its Home Delivered Meals program for older adults who are homebound. DAAS has also partnered with Community Action Partnership (CAP) to create Food Pantries in each of the six regional DAAS offices to provide boxes of groceries to older adults and adults with disabilities who are in need of non-perishable food items. For information on DAAS’ nutrition services, please contact Senior Information and Assistance (SIA) at 1-800-510-2020.

DAAS also provides behavioral health services and other related resources to older adults age 59 and over through the Age Wise program. Age Wise services are available 24/7 and can be accessed by calling 1-800-451-5633.

Information on these and other resources can be found on DAAS’ website at www.sbcounty.gov/daas. The DAAS website is updated regularly to provide the most current information on resources available to older adults and their families.
